Our Story
My name is Lucy Gold, Founder
I started Gold Student Sitters as someone who has been babysitting since I was ten years old. However, when I got to college I realized how difficult it was for families to find dependable student sitters in the greater Ann Arbor area. Through my job with Michigan Football, I saw firsthand what local families were really looking for: reliable, well-vetted student sitters who they could build long-term relationships with. Gold Student Sitters was created to meet that need. Many of the families I babysat for have become like family to me. My goal is to provide this type of pairing for Ann Arbor-area families and sitters alike.
